A message from Our Coordinator:
Welcome to AVID! Jeff Middle is truly fortunate to have a building of top-notch professionals, teachers who truly love working with students are dedicated to preparing them for high school. Together with the support of these professionals, AVID is a program that breathes life into every day learning.
AVID is designed to work with all classrooms in such a way as to make learning more engaging, as well as help students to be more organized with their materials. AVID is an excellent way to prepare students for high school and college because the skills taught are life-long skills that can be applied to any classroom, at any level of learning.
Please take a few minutes and explore the AVID website, the national website and our school website. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Kym Armontrout, AVID Coordinator of Jefferson Middle School
